“What on earth am I here for?”
Come Discover Your Life Purpose!
When Pilgrim Lutheran launches its 40 Days of Purpose campaign February 2, 2008, we will join a worldwide network of thousands of churches inspired by spiritual renewal and growth.
WHAT IS IT?
Your daily journey with purpose during the forty days of Lent. At the center of the campaign is the best-selling book, “The Purpose Driven Life”.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
• Get the book. All participants will receive a copy of the book which is appropriate for all ages and backgrounds.
• Read & meditate on one brief chapter each day for forty days.
• Join a group. Your small group will meet on Wednesday nights at Pilgrim to watch a short video and participate in a discussion on what you’ve read throughout the previous week.
• Come to Church. The campaign will also be reinforced through the 40 Days Of Purpose sermon series
WHAT WILL HAPPEN?
The impact of 40 DAYS OF PURPOSE reaches far beyond a stand alone program or sermon series. It will reach deep into your life and soul as you search God’s Word to find out “What on earth am I here for?” You will discover five purposes for you:
• You Were Planned for God’s Pleasure
• You Were Formed for God’s Family
• You Were Created to Become Like Christ
• You Were Shaped for Serving God
• You Were Made for a Mission
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
The series spans the 40 days of Lent and begins with a kick off on Saturday, February 2, 2008. We will conclude with a Celebration Sunday on Palm Sunday, March 16
