Ms. Gina has worked in the Early Childhood Education field for 24 years.    After high school graduation and while waiting to start business college she took a position being a teaching assistant in a small preschool.  It was there that she saw her true calling was to work with young children and families.  Following God's lead, she changed her education goal to focus on Early Childhood Education.  She received her education at Santa Barbara City College, UCLA and UCSB.  She has also completed many trainings and workshops on a myriad of subjects focusing on the development of young children and family support. She is a Project Exceptional trainer and Parent Mentor serving families of children with Special Needs.  She is a past appointed member of the Santa Barbara County Child Care Planning Council and a California Professional Growth Adviser. Ms. Gina is a member of the National & California Association for Education of Young Children.  

Ms. Gina loves nothing more than to spend time with her husband Alex and her children, Paul, Cassie, Monica and Max.  She enjoys music, reading, arranging flowers, watching movies and relaxing at the beach.  Above all Gina follows the Lord's plan for her life and is grateful He lead her to work with His children.

Ms. Coleen has been working in the Child Development field for over 20 years.  She has presently been employed at Pilgrim since 1992.  During her time at Pilgrim she has directed and worked in both the school-age child care program and the preschool.

She enjoys spending time with her family and having the opportunity to  work with the families, children and other special people God has placed in her life.

Hey there! My name is Vanessa Wolf and I am a proud Pilgrim alumnus. I attended Pilgrim Lutheran Preschool beginning in 1993 and graduated from eighth grade in 2003. I have always had a passion for children and knew that I wanted to become a teacher. After graduating from Lutheran High in 2007 I decided to attend Concordia University Irvine. I graduated this pass fall with a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies for elementary education, with a minor in child development, and a concentration in Lutheran education. I have also been part of Pilgrims Sonshine Day camp program for the past five years and am so excited to be back in my home town and begin my life long dream started here at Pilgrim with people I know and love!
