Dear Parent:
SHARING: Our sharing cycle coordinates with our Science curriculum. The students are asked to bring something they have outgrown. Each child should be able to tell what the item is, when he used it, when he gave up using it and any other interesting little story about him and the object. Some examples of this might be an article of clothing worn as a baby, a favorite toy, a nightlight given up just last year, training wheels finally put aside, a security blanket no longer needed, a first piano book left behind for a much higher level, etc. The student could tell the story of the time she lost her favorite “blankie” in the store and wouldn’t go to sleep without it, or something like that.
The students may bring a book of his/her choice to share.
Our sharing schedule is:
Monday: Madyson
Tuesday: Meghann
Wednesday: Gabrielle (make up)
Thursday: none (library)
Friday: none
MEMORY: The first is due Wednesday, and the second is due Friday
