6th Grade is an EXCITING year!  You are now part of Pilgrim Lutheran's "Middle School" and with that, comes new challenges and lots of fun :)  You'll be exposed to challenging Math lessons from Mrs. Barrett and lots of hands-on Science with Mrs. Runyan.  6th grade classes with Mrs. Loughney will take you in the past, exploring Ancient Civilizations in Social Studies.  We will learn more about Jesus and his teachings for our lives.  And we'll have plenty of opportunities to sharpen and develop grammar, writing, and reading strategies that will prepare us for middle school and beyond.   6th grade students are engaged in a mix of challenging independent work and exciting projects.  And don't forget 6th Grade Camp at Indian Hills -- a week-long trip that you'll never forget!
