Childrens’ and Youth Programs

Pilgrim’s campus includes a fully accredited preschool and K-8 day school. We offer before- and after-school care options for busy parents.images

Our “Connect” youth group is for middle school students and meets every Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the Youth Room (in the Parish Hall basement). All interested youth are invited to join in with Bible Study, fellowship, and fun! Email Youth Director Paul Rodarte for information at


“Unite” Youth Group is open to high schoolers and meets weekly in our Youth Room (Parish Hall basement) every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. Under the guidance of Youth Director Paul Rodarte, they actively participate in bible study, servant projects, field trips, and worship. Every three years they attend the LCMS National Youth Gathering, bringing together high school youth from all over the United States to a 4-day “mountain-top” experience.

Pilgrim Lutheran is a sponsoring member congregation of Lutheran High School of San Diego. We encourage our families to check out their excellent Christian-based curriculum and sports programs. You can visit their website at for more information.

Bible lessons and activities are offered to all ages on Wednesday evenings, Discipleship Night. A dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. and bible study groups commence at 6:15 p.m. (Concluded for summer)

Pilgrim offers the “Kids for Jesus Club” (Sunday School) on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the second grade classroom of our school building. All elementary grade children are invited to attend!

Harbor Kidz meets in the Parish Hall during our 10:45 a.m. worship service. This gives them opportunity to worship and have activities geared toward children while “the grown-ups” worship in the sanctuary. All children in grades Pre K-4th are welcome!
